It's Within Walking Distance!

Hollywood Broadwalk consists of 2.5 mile stretch and 27 foot wide promenade for walkers, joggers, rollerbladers and bicyclists. And especially people-watchers! You can hear, taste and see the world in just one visit. Clean and family friendly. Lots of charming cafes, restaurants and shops. Rent bicycles and rollerblades right on the Broadwalk. Bandshell theater hosts local entertainers every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, just a few blocks away at Johnson Street and the beach broadwalk. Dance under the starry sky!

For those who prefer a little less physical activity, you can enjoy performances at the beach theater, shop at our many beach boutiques, sip a cappuccino at an outdoor café or just sit on a beachfront bench and "people watch."

If you want to jump in the car and drive just a couple miles, you can rent Jet skis, waverunners, ocean kayaks, power boats, sailboats, windsurfers, other watercrafts. You can also visit Hollywood North Beach. This relatively untouched beach is a haven for shell seekers, families and ecologists alike. The gritty, shell-laced sand is lined by native vegetation,and on the north end by private homes.
